Invisalign clear braces are made of durable plastic, but they can still crack or break. If your Invisalign is coming off the back teeth, you can try to narrow the opening by removing the aligner and tightening it with your fingers. This usually works and helps make the aligner fit more snugly on the molars. After adjusting the aligners, you should continue with the Invisalign biting sticks. If your brackets have been removed, it's important to call one of our offices right away.
We'll set up an appointment for you to get them back on as soon as possible. This isn't usually an emergency and can be done within two to three weeks. Just remember to be as careful with your braces as you would with any fine jewelry. Having loose brackets will likely extend the length of your treatment.
